WHO I AM
My name is Marc Ruiviejo Cirera – I am a CSR, business ethics & employee engagement specialist.
My vision is a world where companies operate in a more ethical and responsible way.
Where people are better off as a result of acting with integrity and doing the right thing.
Where doing business in a sustainable way doesn't just benefit employees and society,
it helps companies perform better, too.
I love my job. Helping businesses change for good and make a positive difference is what I get up for every day.
It’s not easy to describe what I do. On top of being a fairly new and continually evolving profession, each company and each project brings new challenges. I guess what I do could be summarised as follows: I help companies develop and implement strategies and engagement programmes with a focus on CSR, sustainability, business ethics and compliance, always aiming to benefit both the company and society at large.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Over the last 5 years I’ve worked as a consultant at Radley Yeldar, London. I’ve helped these multinational companies become stronger by putting ethics, values and CSR at the heart of their organisations:
Entrepreneur by default, I set up my own business at the age of 19: Ítaca (restaurant). My business partners and I started from scratch and did everything from crafting the business plan to getting investment, managing the construction of the premises to obtaining all the licenses. We ran the business for four years aiming to increase results every year, eventually selling to a private investor.
